How To Be A Great Leader
Remember the story about Danial, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego (is that how you spell them?)?
There's an epic line in it...
19 The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. 20 Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.
(in this translation they're rocking the Hebrew names...)
That line - "he found them ten times more capable."
I love it!
Because that should be how YOU are as a leader.
10X more capable.
Problem is...many pastors and church leaders STOP developing at a certain point.
They lose their edge...
Stop reading...being intellectually challenged...
Stop exercising...get a little soft and out of shape...
Stop charging mountains of faith...getting a little comfortable...
That's not the 10X way.
That's the world's way...eating, drinking, and being merry because of a futile perspective of the world...
But Kingdom leaders are battle-tested and battle ready at all times!
They say no to what others say yes to and yes to what others say no to.
Kingdom leaders are on a mission so they stay sharp!
Harmless as doves but wise as serpents.
Ready in season and out.
How's your tank right now, leader?
A little depleted?
How's your faith?
A little shaken?
Time for a top up!
A healthy dose of leadership coaching and encouragement to help you get the crack back in your whip! (metaphorically speaking of course...haha)
